UV radiation is a kind of Electromagnetic Radiation. It is not the visible light. UV spectral range is 100-380nm, it's close to the visible part of the blue (380-760mm).
 
The greatest natural source of ultraviolet is sunlight.The shorter the wavelength of radiation, the greater the intensity of radiation. According to the wavelength, UV radiation can be classified:
 
UV-A, between 320 to 400 nm
UV-B, between 280 to 320 nm
UV-C, between 200 to 280 nm
UV-V, between 100 to 200 nm
