General Description

UVALAM GP-50180 is a two-part 1:1 non-sagging methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite.

UVALAM GP-50180 reaches lap shear values of approximately 500 and 1000 psi in 3 and 4 hours, respectively, at a 0.03-in. (0.75mm) bond line.

UVALAM GP-50180 has been designed for use on large structures where a very long open time product is needed.

UVALAM GP-50180 is commonly used for bonding stringers and liners into large fiberglass boats with bond lines up to 1.00 in. (25mm) thick.

UVALAM GP-50180 provides a unique combination of excellent fatigue endurance, outstanding impact resistance, and superior toughness.

Storage & Shelf life:

The shelf life of GP-0416 stored at 20 ± 4℃ is 12 months from the date of manufacture.

Cool storage at around 12℃ can extend the shelf life.

Long-term exposure above 25℃ will reduce the shelf life.

Prolonged exposure of activators, including cartridges that contain activators, above 35℃ quickly diminishes the reactivity of the product, and should be avoided.

This product should never be frozen.
